In the 1990s BJP started the Babri Masjid issue as a magic wand and the trick paid handsome political dividends and helped them win elections and come to power.
And this MAGIC WAND lost its power in the 2000s and BJP lost many elections. So RSS planned fomenting and engineering communal riots as its new magic wand. Honest security officers like Karkare defeated their plans and the finest officer of India sacrificed his life to save Indian secularism.
Since these do not seem to work, may I suggest to BJP to forget about Babri Masjid-Ramjanmabumi issue and look for a different and more effective Magic wand to recover their lost political power and may I suggest to them to start a movement to declare that Taj Mahal had been built on the Shiva Temple site some such cock and bull nonsense
The leaders are untouchables. All of the 68 wrongdoers in the case of Babri demolition are free and can not be arrested.
It does not matter how many Guptas come forward as witnesses against the leaders. And, even if there is an eye wash arrest of some, they will get out by bail and will NEVER, NEVER will be punished.
Reason:
if they are punished, millions of hard core RSS followers will be on the streets playing havoc with Govt properties, setting fire and killing Muslims.
More often, the police leave a street thug untouched to avoid a greater misery to the innocent.

No action can politically be taken against the leaders simply because the criminals happen to be big guns. The Investigation on modern Indias worst massacre (Gujarat) in which over 2300 innocent Muslims who had nothing whatsoever with the Sabarmati attack, will eventually end up the same way as Babri Masjid case.
We have to wait at least 17 years and by the time many criminals including Modi will have disappeared from the main stage of Indian politics. Justice delayed is justice denied.
A powerful Govt should deal with any terrorist and communal crimes, REGARDLESS OF RELIGION of the perpetrators and introduce collective punishment on the organisation or party that initiated the violence.
Even the SC is impotent in India in protecting the minorities and punishing the real terrorists
